CryLaS and EOLITE Systems sign an exclusive cooperation contract

Berlin, 06.05.2008

Both companies have signed an exclusive cooperation for the development, production and marketing of a new high peak power nanosecond laser with out-standing power / size- and price-ratio. The new laser family, called Mistral, combines the advantages of the CryLaS products and EOLITE`s expertise in fiber amplifying. The Mistral comes in 3 wavelengths: 1064nm, 532nm, 355nm with repetition rate up to 20kHz. Typical average power will be up to 5W at 1064nm, 2,2W at 532nm and 1,2W at 355nm. First units will be shipped to customers in May 2008. Typical applications, depending on wavelength, are: micromachining, LIDAR, etc.

SECOPTA received Technology Award of the German Defence Industry

Berlin, 29.11.2007

This years Technologie Award of the German Defence Industry, assigned by the committee of AVW ( Ausschuss Verteidungswirtschaft - Commission of Defense Industry) within the BDI (Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie - Federation of German Industries) was awarded to Secopta GmbH, a daughter company of CryLaS GmbH, Berlin. Secopta successfully developed, in cooporation with LAC (Laser Application Center) of TU Clausthal , a land mine detection system.

NLG New Laser Generation GmbH merged to CryLaS

Berlin, November 2007

The company NLG New Laser Generation GmbH, Teltow has fully merged to CryLaS GmbH.

New single frequency CW Laser in the deep UV

The new FQCW266-series of cw lasers from CryLaS GmbH, Berlin, deliver up to 10mW at 266nm in single frequency operation. Compared to other CW lasers at 266nm, the FQCW266 system has a low power consumption of less than 100W (average 70W) and a small footprint of only 271 x 190 mm. For the cooling of the laser head just air convection is sufficient, no other provisions (chiller, fan etc.) are needed.

Single Frequency CW Laser The laser comes with a control unit, allowing either push button control or remote control operation via serial (RS232) interface. The lasers offer an excellent beam quality with an M2 below 1.3 , a beam divergence below 0.7mrad (full angle), low intensity noise below 1% (100Hz-10MHz) and a good power stability (<2% in 8 hours). Two models FQCW266-05 with 5mW and FQCW266-10 with 10mW output power are available right now, higher power models up to 100mW are in development.

New compact DPSS-laser with outstanding power/size- and price-ratio
The new DPSS-laser series –Q3 from CryLaS GmbH, Berlin, fills a gap in the energy range between
the established products-lines of the small Q1/2-lasers and the high power lasers. The lasers are coming
with a trigger signal either externally via TTL or via software internally as a standard. Specification:

wavelength 1064 nm 532 nm 355 nm
energy/pulse > 50 μJ >20 μJ > 15 μJ
rep. rate 1 – 3000 Hz 1 – 3000 Hz 1 – 3000 Hz
pulse-width ≤ 2.1 ns ≤ 1.5 ns ≤ 1 ns
average cw-power@max. rep.rate 150 mW 60 mW 45 mW

As the lasers are sealed packages all products have a warranty of more than 5000hrs. Additional options as fiber-coupling, synchronization signal output or stand-alone version are available. Typical applications depending on wavelength are: micromachining, LIDAR, microdissection, LIF, cell-manipulation, inspection, etc. contact: sales@crylas.de
